When I bought this band saw in 2016 the restoration work was mostly done. I did the final assembly and adjustments and a few minor repairs. I built and installed the blade guard based on photos found here on Vintage Machinery. Those photos did not give me a lot of detail and would like to see an original blade guard. I installed a new switch plus a foot switch which I find more convenient. A Wood Slicer resaw blade from Highland Woodworking has worked well. The motor is a 1915 Century 1 hp. I am happy to hear from anyone with questions or comments.
