Lester Improved treadle scroll saw with swing out lathe by Millers Falls. Patent 1881. Scroll saw has 18 inch throat. Lathe can take an 8 inch piece of wood. The lathe is a very unique feature. The tripod design with the horse shoe from legs were also used in the later scroll saws New Rogers and the Cricket. I purchased this at a summer spectacular auction in Avoca N. Y. a few years ago.
