Not sure of the history of this saw. It's been in my neighbor's garage since I've lived nextdoor to him, 33 years. To my knowledge he had not used it in those 33 years. It was given to me recently by his son. I plan to move it to my shop when I have room and restore it. Missing the access panel, has a GE motor control on it (?) The motor ("egg") has no distinguishing markings at this time. Maybe with removal and closer inspection something may be found. I suspect that the motor was changed with the control, thus the GE control.
