This was a benchtop machine that came from the Charles N. Miller Company in Water Town Ma. They manufactured Mary Jane an old-fashioned peanut butter- and molasses-flavored taffy-type candy. This was used in the maintenance department. The legs are from an older 9" SB, I think the travel dial is not SBL, I believe the cross slide dial is from a light 10". The head casting is from a newer machine I seized the original. It was rebuilt in the 90's by Garden State machine works in New Jersey. This machine has been modified extensively and is used for prototype and production work.
