This machine belongs to Aaron Ince, who sent us the photos. The saw was purchased in Southern Ontario and is presumed to have been built that region, probably in the 1880s. I suspect this bandsaw was from a smaller maker and we may never know for certain who that was.

Round weight is for blade tension; it goes on the rod projecting to the left.
