This machine was a gamble on a recent IRS auction from a cabinet company in Pipersville, PA. The machine seemed to missing its motor, but closer scrutiny of the photo revealed a contact wheel was tucked into the cabinet.... possibly the whole motor was there as well.
Bidding ended at $61 and the sander followed me home between winter's weather. The motor was there, worked fine, and a follow-up trip for 2000-lbs of solid surface cutoffs also yielded about 20 belts that were in a box in the shop's storeroom.
Thanks to those nice folks that have uploaded manuals for the machine, too! There wasa piece of teak bolted onto the units platen... I may leave that there. I did order a bunch of extra graphite-impregnated canvas from Process Engineering when I did my stroke sander.... an Acme, too.... so that may also be used here, too.
This machine has both lock knobs for the rear customizable sanding platens/forms, but the assembly of those forms is rather vague from the manuals I have downloaded. That is not a priority at this point, anywho.
