Purchased at auction from Vero Beach, FL School Board in August 2020. Machine was neglected and dirty but after a quick cleanup of the upper and lower feed guides, new tires, feed bearings and new metal cutting blade it performs perfectly. Upper and lower wheel bearings were not replaced as they spin perfectly and are noise free. I'm leaving this one as a "rat rod", untouched in this condition for the time being as I kinda like the look.
Unknown date of manufacture, but logo badge puts it between 1941-1952. Machine is powered with a 1/2 hp Delta motor and a VFD. Blade speed is very low and machine is kept as a metal cutting bandsaw in my shop where it performs admirably in lighter duty projects. I find it excels at cutting extremely dense hardwoods such as African Blackwood in this configuration.
