After three weeks on the road I finally got the rest that was needed.Removed the last of the stuff out of the pattern shop in PA.(its slated for the Cat D-9 on the 15th of march). The Fay & Egan single end tenoner is now in my storage. It is a belt drive machine
that was set up to run off the line shaft but was hooked up to a electric motor in the 1950's.It has top and bottom tenon heads, top and bottom cope. The cut off attachment was never ordered for the machine as it was an special order item from the factory. The tenoner came with a box full of cope profiles. The machine is in good condition and complete with all pullies. There is no broken parts or castings(one dust guard has a slight repair)all babbit bearings are tight and have no noteworthy play. The table slides smooth and with little effort.I will be needing to find a good home for this machine as my storage is over flowing with machines.
