This was my first tool I bought on ebay. I got this little saw for $75. The seller had only one very poor photo taken from a bit of a distance and therefore did not get much attention. I picked it up from him in Northern New Jersey in July 2005. There is nothing really special about this saw, but it is a nice example of how a cheap ebay purchase can turn into a very nice and useable machine.
Cosmetically it was in quite a rough condition, but mechanically it was good and had very little wear. It still has the original Delta motor in very good condition. The rust on the table cleaned up very nicely and after minor adjustments I used it for a while without doing much to restore it.
Recently the arbor bearings needed replacement and I used the opportunity to do a complete strip, clean and paint while it was apart for bearing replacement. After re-assembly and careful adjustments, it runs very well and is perfect for my immediate needs. Planned upgrades are a Biesemeyer fence and an aftermarket miter gauge.
