This was gotten at a vintage tool (tailless) sale. As best as I can figure it's from the 30's but I could very well be wrong. It weighs in at a wee bit over a pound and a half.

It was very stiff from dried grease. I dismantled, cleaned and re-greased it and it functions as well as the day it was sold. The tapered shaft shows little use.

I've seen these in the catalogs and was taken back a little by its size (bigger than I expected). It is very simple in design and well made. It has become part of the "All Things Delta" permanent collection.
