Used for many years by a gentleman in Manchester NH who did furniture re-upholstery as a hobby/side job. While many of these machines have been posted, this particular drill press stands out in a few ways. First, the serial #1 1140 is shared by many machines, but this is the only one I have seen with the black/silver badge, not the typical orange. Another unusual trait, is the table lift. This is the one that is attached to the table via a ring that is screwed into the bottom of the table clamp. This is the optional version 9D66 which has a handle, as opposed to the version with a hand wheel, that came with the DP961 production table package. Not sure if this is unusual, but the belt cover is made from cast iron. A later version I had, I believe was made from aluminum or zamack.u
