Since cleaned up - detailed photos coming. Stamped with patent dated July 14, 1908 [893,348], but not August 17, 1909 patent date [931,327] seen on later revisions (see VM doc. #18553, page 43).
Present owner acquired chuck in 2020 as installed on a 14" Young Machine & Tool Co. lathe, not manufactured until after 1910. Unable to establish if the chuck was provided with the lathe at initial purchase.
