I acquired the saw from the neice of the original owner. He was a journeyman cabinent maker from Germany. I assume he bought the saw new, because she came over in the early 50's and remembers it being in the basement. I got the saw, fence, miter gauge, several blades, arbor wrench, manual, and an advertising postcard (already posted on the mothership). So far only the belt has been replaced, but I think bearings will be next. This is a wonderful saw.
