Purchased this drill press in Cape Charles, VA on 10/20/2016 for $80 from a guy who used it in an auto repair/fab shop. Didn't know anything about it and couldn't remember where he had gotten it.
This project was a lot of firsts for me. First time restoring a vintage tool, first time taking apart a drill press, first time using electrolysis, and the list goes on. I went deep into this restoration, but not everything is perfect. The quill doesn't retract as it used to because I screwed up the clock spring and some of the parts in the quill fit too tight because I got a little crazy with the paint. Overall, it came out nice. Needs some refreshing though as its been 4 years since I did the restore.
