This is the first of these band saws we've seen. It's badged Friis & Miller Machine Co., which is a predecessor to FAMCO.
From the FAMCO history page: "This firm traces its roots to the N. P. Friis foundry established just south of Racine by Nels Peter Friis. Friis died before the US engagement in World War I but the business was continued by his sons Peter, Nels and Chris. By the early 1920s the firm was known as the Friis & Miller Co. In 1927 the business was purchased by Mr. Herman Noll, who changed the name to Famco Machine Co."
The saw will need some work on the trunnions and guides to be in operation condition. But it's way much too cool to not fully restore and put to use.
Friis & Miller was known to make bone cutting saws. However after looking at advertisements of those products this band saw bears no resemblance to those machines.
