This J.D. Wallace table saw was spotted for sale on Facebook Marketplace locally. I was relieved of the temptation to buy as someone else got there first.

However as we have no photos of this generation model of their Universal saw I did capture the photos from the listing to upload here. Note that the saw is belt drive, and has a traditional cast iron top with a miter slot and traditional style fence! (This is in contrast to the older Wallace Universal table saws which were direct (gear head) drive and used a heavy sheet steel top with the miter gauge and fence grip the edges of the table.) The top is 39" x 29".

Note that the miter gauge is a MAX, originally from a MAX disc sander, and is not a Wallace original. We don't know what the Wallace factory miter gauge might have looked like for this saw.
