From Mark Widen, former owner, sold on Ebay 9/04. This tool was designed by Ole Evinrude during the depression to keep his outboard motor factory in operation during the tough times as well as give people an inexpensive way to own a complete shop. It features a bandsaw, tablesaw, lathe (that is rated for soft metals), large sanding disk, and horizontal drill. There is a box of extra items which includes saw blades, 2 blade guards, miter gauge, 2 drill chucks for the tail sock, band blade guide, lathe tool rest, large sanding disk, bowl plate for lathe, etc. Also comes with a copy of a sales brochure showing features and optional equipment. As the photos show, the band saw folds down to put the table saw in place. This is done without removing the table saw blade. I have run the motor and it is in good shape. It does need some work to be used again. The Babbitt bearings need to be re-poured. The large sanding disk is also used as a jointer but the fence for this is missing. There is a crack in the aluminum band saw table. some of the small items in the box are rusty. This will make a very nice restoration project for someone who can pour new bearings and weld up the table. This is a very heavy machine with a cast iron frame.
