Purchased motor this week for use with a VFD on my Delta 1460 lathe. The previous owner had it for years in his antique store. No idea what it was used with. Weighs about 85lbs, the base is part of the unit. Shaft is 1" diameter and the keyway is 1/4". There is another number stamped into the brass badge, think 556. No idea if this represents a change to voltage but 556 is unusual number. Looks like it has oil sumps and both ends as there are oil plugs underneath. Looks like oil ports also on each end of shaft.
