It turns out there was one of these lurking in the Milwaukee area. Having had a chance to inspect this in person I'd call it solid, straight forward, and well built.
The pull handle on the left moves an idler pulley into or out of position, which is how you engage the power feed. The hand wheel on the right cranks the table up and down. The motor sits underneath. It currently has a newer single phase 3HP Baldor under there.
I known that the top frame is a prior owner addition. He wanted to have a platform to rest materials on. The lower box/stand and belt guard might be factory.
I'm looking forward to putting some wood through this to try it out.
