Comments:
Purchased from one the surplus auctions online from Navy surplus. Price was just over $400 with buyer's premium and state sales tax. Machine is in pretty good condition. The clamp to hold the work piece aganist the fence is missing, the fence height adjustment is missing and a bracket casting for the heigth adjust is broken. One of the hand wheels is broken as can be seen in the first picture. The handwheel to adjust the table in/out is also bent but not broken. Also need to either replace the motor leeds or repair. The condit into the motor was broken and the insulation on the leeds is damaged. Will post more pictures after painting and restoration

Got the birth certificate from Eagle Mach. for this machine.

The mortise machine was originally order by the Navy and shipped to the Naval Ammunition Dept., Bums City, Ind. I picked the machine up in Crane, Ind. Looks like I am second owner.

Order was placed Mar. 26, 1942 and shipped May 20, 1942.

Purchase price $931.90

Shipping wt. 1250lbs.
