Found this in a local classified listing-- fortuitously on a day where i already had rented a trailer. We loaded up with a tractor, and two of us were able to gently manuaver it using some lifting bars and some moving dollies into our shop. It had been stored in a couple of barns here in southern NH for the past 20 years. Prior to that it came out of an old furniture manufacturer somewhere in central MA. It closely resembles the lathe and morse machines from the 1880s and onward, but is missing any emblems branding, and their tell tale cross braces It has some modifications such as the motor mount. Ways have a lovely scraped pattern to them. The main pulley is some type of wrapped wood/cast assembly where its hollow or wood filled. Spindle thread was some non standard tapered thread. Close to a 1 1/4 pipe thread but finer pitch. I had a local machinist turn it down to a 1 x 8TPI to adapt to standard lathe tooling.
