Purchased from estate near Flint, MI. Seller stated his father and probably grandfather owned the machine for approximately 60 years. VERY heavy machine. Cast iron base has drain hole for lubricant/cutting fluid. Post has approximately 8" extension to allow for taller work that is hand fabricated and somewhat crudely done. Drill head has brass tag for Kingsbury Keene, NH. block stamped PATENTED and B 120. Base has brass tag on right side for Riverside Machinery Depot machinery and supplies, Detroit, MI. Front of cast iron base has KINGSBURY MFG CO KEENE NH Motor is 1/4 HP 110v Sunlight Electrical Mfg. Co., Warren, OH. Motor mount seems to be a modification (including crude C clamp). Unsure if motor is original to press. Electric switch obviously modern modification.
