Due to Covid-19, I was not able to travel to Northern California in March 2020 to pickup this machine. PO kept the machine and waiting for me to find a good opportunity and when the PO purchased some equipment in my own hometown area the trip was planned. The PO delivered the lathe before picking up his new machine. This is the largest RS lathe, it has 10 1/4" height to centers (32 1/2" in the gap), 8 speeds (4 spindles x 2 motor speeds); floor space = 11' x 2'3"; 7'6" between centers. Machine was built in Leicester not Nottingham UK. Morse taper 2 in head/tailstocks. Headstock spindle is 1-3/8-6 BSW, not a common size here in the US but Oneway has adapters for their Stronghold Chucks. Weight 1710lbs. 1 1/2 HP 2 speed motor running at 900-1,800 rpm (240, 380, 600, 900, 1,150, 1,750, 2,220, 3,360). 12" and 18" face plates came on the 1-1/2 outboard spindle; 6" and 12" plates available on the inboard spindle. 2-18-21 VFD with remote station Installed to give virtually limitless speed control.
