Atlas Lathe has the old style round Atlas label showing the year 1911. Not a riveted on badge. The Craftsman 101.06240 from 1937 is the exact equivalent of this Atlas lathe. This lathe has no ball or tapered roller bearings in the head stock. The spinner knob in the tail stock hand wheel was missing. It has snapped off and the threads are still in the hand wheel. The tail stock casting number is L2-5. The casting number under the head stock cover is L2-22 underneath the number "10". This was part of a purchase of a Delta Rockwell 34-600 9" inch table saw with attached 4" jointer. May have been part of a Delta Shop package. Picked it up from the owner's grandson and he gave me the lathe for free, plus two motors.
