This Belt Disc sander belonged to my grandfather Benedict Benco who purchased it in the early 1950’s. Benedict was a union carpenter (Local 1027 Mill/Cabinet-Chicago). This sander saw about 40 years in his home shop where it was used regularly. Since his death in 1990 the machine has been with my father. I recently rebuilt the Delco motor that powers it. The machine still has the original paint and decal, both in good shape:
