This machine was purchased new by my grandfather Benedict Benco. Benedict was a union carpenter (local 1027 Mill/Cabinet-Chicago) and this drill press was used regularly for about the first 40 years of its life at his home workshop in Chicago. Upon his death in 1990 the drill press went to my father, where it has continued to be in regular use ever since. The drill press still has it’s original motor which runs good:
