Bought this EC #327 at auction for $143.00. It was in almost perfect condition, but very cosmetically challenged. I completely disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt. Removed old paint, applied 2 coats primer, 3 coats Rustoleum army green (as close as I could find to what seemed to be the original). It has the original Howell 5HP motor, which looks to have been rewound in the last 20 years. The unit runs very smooth, even at 20,000 RPM. It sounds a bit like an air raid siren. It takes about 6 seconds to wind up to full speed. It is a pleasure to use. SN: 88. Weight: 1480 lbs.
