The tag on it says it is: "Cat. #76, Heavy Duty, 1/3hp, S/N GK002621, made in Greenfield, Mass.".

This is a nice, smooth running, very quiet grinder (sometimes I forget it's still running). It is quite heavy, with all cast guards and rests. I have no idea yet as to its age. In appearance it looks the same as Skil and Walker Turner grinders.

It was abandoned at a former bus maintenance facility. Why, I will never know. It is being used now but I plan to restore it in the future.

This makes the 3rd bench grinder I own, and it is by far the best one. My others are a 6" Craftsman, which is pretty good and an 8" Craftsman that I already have to replace bearings in.
