Comments:
I bought this Lathe from a local woodworker that had decided to move to Switzerland. It's in great shape for its age. I have just a few handle repairs and machining to do before it's complete. It runs smoothly with virtually no vibration. I completely disassembled it, stripped the paint layers, primed and painted with a grey that matches the original color pretty closely. I can't wait to get a block of wood in it and try it out, had to get the pictures up first though. It has an old 1 hp sleeve bearing motor that still runs pretty well, not the original though.
Model number J170-588
