This machine was in use up to the companies demise 3 years ago. Then it sat in a warehouse until I purchased it on Ebay last week. Motors seem to run fine in 60 Hz.s without cutterhead .The only problem I see is rust and a couple of nicked teeth in the bevel gears that tansmit power to the elevating screw which is an easy fix . the left spindle rotates counterclockwise the right rotates clockwise. the table is 38"x54" the spindle diameter is 1 1/8" with 5 1/2" inches under the nut. Motors are Old General Electric and Old Westinghouse, both 2 speed 3450 @ 60 Hz.s and 2850 @ 50 Hz.s 5 HP . Model # 20 date unknown. there is a no Id plate, but there looks as though there might have been one on the right. The door has A number that might just be a casting number ,but not sure .I will post new info when I get it. Whoa! theres probably enough cast iron to manufacture 10 grissly planers
