This machine is sitting out in a field, under a tarp, where it has been for the last 4 years. UPDATE: This machine was from the carpentry department of Gimbels Department Store on West 33rd Street in Manhattan. It was used to make all of their store displays and signs etc. The machine was purchased at auction when Gimbels closed. The guy who bought the jointer at auction later traded it for another machine. The new owner was only able to take it home one piece at a time due to the small size of his pickup truck. So the machine was complete 4 years ago. The new owner moved away from CT before he was able to retrieve the main casting, so that's why it is in the field where I found it. The belts, motor, tables, or fence are currently in New Hampshire.
