This machine belonged to my granddad and was passed down to my dad. I was a very angry young man and swore I would never touch anything having to do with carpentry right before joining the army. My dad passed two years ago and before that when my mom was diagnosed with cancer he went off the rails. That saw sat nearly 12 years unused in his basement woodshop it was completely submerged under 10 feet of water twice during that time. I like to think maybe after this restore while I can't make it right its a little less wrong. The motor was the original motor sold on saw and although it nearly drove me insane I was able to figure out how to rebuild that as well and it currently runs like a scalded dog.
