This drill press was definitely a quest machine. The funny thing is that it came out of my brother-in-law’s mother’s basement, where it sat unused for the past 30+ years, and the price was right. Free. It’s entirely original and is still mounted to its factory original wooden shipping pallet. I took it apart down to the nuts and bolts, cleaned everything, applied lubricant where necessary and reassembled it. The only apology was a cracked tilting table flange. A fellow OWWM member hooked me up with a stationary table that looks good and will get the job done. It’s a very smooth, quiet running machine.
