Purchased from the grandson of the original owner around 2012. Was sitting in barn nearLakeland, FL most of its life. Placed in storeroom of my shop until a few months ago. Plan to clean, repaint, and use for small detail parts on current projects. All original - motor, counter shaft, gears - leather belt and electrical wiring were unusable. Included 4" 3 jaw chuck, 5" 4 jaw chuck, steady rest, original wrenches, etc. New leather belt, new wiring, and a little oil - runs like new!!! This thing is a real little jewel , , , .

Very little surface rust. Most of what looks like rust in the photos below is actually hardened oil (like varnish).

Overall condition considering this lathe is 89 years old and spent most of it life in a barn in Florida - Excellent
