This is a single speed bandsaw. Using the Sears general line catalogs, this bandsaw 1st appeared on in the 1949 catalog. I believe this is one of the earlier 1950s models. It has only one miter slot, looking at the catalogs, in 1957 the catalog mentions 2 miter slots.
the bandsaw has a Westinghouse 3/4 hp, 1725 RPM motor.
