Bought 6/2020 in Huron, NY. Seller said his Dad had owned it, had used if for wood. I confirmed that, motor interior was packed with sawdust. The only reference I found for this model 400 is in the 1944 Hammond Bulletin 201-A. Even though this is called a DRI model, there is a spray nozzle (valved) and return water drain. The well is shallow, not like the deeper well on their DRI-N-WET model and no noticeable screw holes for mounting a hood. I am having a tool rest made. Motor is 1/3 hp Marathon. I disassembled, cleaned everything, re-greased the bearings, added a switch to the motor. I don't show it in the photos, the heavy sheet steel stand has nice rolled edges, welded seams.
