My brother purchased this machine for about $20.00 from a junk yard in Tulsa, Ok. He said that it had a small tree growing through the column when he bought it for parts. After taking it home he discovered that the motor worked and he gave it to me. I restored it completely and have found it to be an exceptionally nice little mortiser. Don't ever be afraid to try and fix a machine even if its ugly.
