I bought this 4" Homecraft jointer off the Craigslist in Troy Michigan back in 2016 for $45. Jointer was on the wooden stand that looked to be the plan stand design in the early 1950's Homecraft catalogs also. Came with the original a nice Homecraft 1/3-hp motor, correct Delta drive pulleys and a nice Delta push/pull switch rod. I cleaned, polished and repainted the jointer in Awl Grip paint mixed to match the original grey color enamel used by Delta. Also replaced the bearings, all electrical, drive V-belt, and had the blades resharpened also.
Wood Stand: sanded it down to all bare wood, filled as needed to polyester filler, primed and painted in Rustoleum 2X gloss dark grey paint. Stands construction was well done with Mortise and tenon joints on the rails and a nice 2"x2" splayed leg design. This stand was too tall for as a jointer stand set up and was also made of some very cheap paint grade lumber materials. This stand has been reused for a small Dunlap 12.5" bench model drill press.
Delta Cast Iron panels/stand: these two Delta art-deco cast iron end panels were for a 6" Delta jointer, I got them in a lot with a Delta 6" jointer buy out of Corpus Christi Texas with only the end panels which were rusty but in good shape. Someone had a 6" short bed 37-207 Delta jointer mounted between these two panels with the front and rear cast iron panel both missing. So in a effort to repurposed these beautiful panels I blasted them down clean bare metal primed and painted them again in my Delta Awl Grip paint mix.
I will be adding when I find one a Delta #132 switch set up and making some art-deco end panels to match the front panels in the future and also adding a Delta Homecraft sheet metal chip chute discharge also.
