I bought this mill back in 2011 for short money. it needed a lot. The motor was missing as well as the X axis hand wheel. The Y axis lead screw was pretty worn. I was lucky to find someone with a parts machine who provided me with replacements for the missing and worn parts. I found a motor for it which was the correct hp, but a smaller frame, which took some adapting. A pretty aggressive search on Ebay turned up the necessary tooling for it as well as a very nice K&T vise. They say that all Van Normans are leakers, and that was certainly true of my mill. I recently rebuilt the head, replacing the bearings and the worn seal, so now it doesn't leak.
