Comments:
Today this tool would be called a scroll saw, but they were called jig saws back then. This saw belonged to my father and was the only power tool he ever owned. The entire upper arm can be removed and a sabre saw blade inserted in the lower blade chuck to allow sheet stock of any size to be cut. The saw is in original condition, although I did replace the upper blade guide with a shop made brass guide. I have the original owner's manual which has been uploaded to this site. You can find it under Craftsman/Catalog and Manual Reprints/.
