Yates American Pattern Maker Jointer,No.1,Serial #25906,four knife round cutter head,Ball Bearing,Direct Drive,5 H.P.,220/440 volts,3Phase.I left my house in upstate
New York friday at 5:30 A.M.,returned sunday 1:30 A.M,one thousand eight hundred twenty five miles later.Man I'am tired.I picked up the jointer in Hendersonville,N.C.,the fare southwest part of the state.I also picked up a American Woodworking Machinery tablesaw in Maryland.The jointer is in excellent condition.It has a hand brake to stop the head
from coasting after turning it off.I have never seen this feature on a Yates American jointer before.The blade guard is complete and has no cracks or repairs.All the original handles and knobs are with the machine and are in excellent condition.The fence is straight and tilts.The outfeed table tilts up or down for pattern work.I will be keeping this jointer for my shop and will be selling my other Yates American 16"jointer that I have in California.
