Comments:
I’ve seen only 2 others like this, both listed here. Unique aspect is the separate and removable steel bed rails, upon which head and tail stock sit. I inherited this from my Father and have used it only once, about 55 years ago. Want to make it operational and would like some advice on reassembly of the collar pieces that enclose the shaft on the onboard side of the headstock. I have a collar piece that screws to the casting and 5 or 6 wafer-thin flat metal rings. Also another collar with female thread that doesn’t match the shaft. Does anyone have any advice on this. I can provide detail photos to explain better. Thanks very much.
