I rec'd this sander approx ten years ago from the owner of a lumber and planing mill, in appreciation for some work done at the mill in central NY. I have used the sander a number of times and it does (did) an excellent job of floor sanding, dust collection and reliability. Right up to the point where an internal armature came apart and fouled the works. So, for now it sits and waits for a willing and knowlegeable repair man to have a look at it. I have a dust collection bag for it and a handle set up to allow the operator to stand while using it, much like a vacuum cleaner. When under power, it will race away from an unsuspecting driver.
