I purchased used in April 2020 from a gentleman in Bridgman, MI.
Came with original Rockwell branded miter gauge, fence and rails system. Table stand seems to not be original.
Motor seems to be original, but I'm not sure. I think it might be mounted wrong. I'm hoping someone on this forum and help me determine if it is wrong and if so, how to fix it.
My goal is to tear it down, clean, repair or replace with original vintage parts as much as possible and then repaint and install into a custom made table saw work bench I'm making for it with an outfeed table. At least... that's the plan : )
So far I've replaced the original motor extension shaft and pulley. it was visibly bent and causing the whole saw to shake and rattle terribly. the "new" motor extension shaft and pulley (ebay) has been a great improvement. But the saw still vibrates a little and then shudders badly when i turn it off and it spins down.
The arbor pulley seems to spin true. No slop or looseness. But i'm no expert. Should I look to replace arbor pulley, shaft and bearings too? Thanks in advance for your help!

Left side, rear. See how the motor mount plate is on the bottom? is that correct? It's not that way in the original manual.

I took this photo in my garage two days after i bought the saw.

Notice how the motor mount plate is vertical in this manual? My saw has it mounted horizontal. Is this a problem?
