Comments:
I acquired this drill when an aircraft engine shop closed, rumor is that the drill press was here at the Hayward airport during WW2 and never left.
The medallion has no serial number so Im very keen to find out how old it is.
I know its kinda sacrilegious to clean an old machine but I plan to have the machine repainted and I hope to find parts to make it look original.
Parts im missing right now.... the crank and gearbox to raise & lower the table & the belt guard on top of the drill press.

There is a crack near the motor position mount, I will have my welder fix the crack & re-tap the hole for the bolt. also on the table you can see the table height gear box that doesn't fit.
