Machine was originally sold in Seattle by Aronson Industrial Supply, WA to the Seattle Public School District. It resided in the Roosevelt Metal/Wood Technology department. It was sold to a private citizen after that who passed in 2020. His son sold it to Darren Thomas in April of 2020. The machine was in perfect running order at this time. Normal wear but minimal. The clutch/brake lever was removed some time ago or was not an option leaving the motor as direct drive to the pulleys. The spindle bore is 1-3/8" leading me to believe it is a 1960's model. The manual handle reeves drive is in tact and working perfectly. No notable damage to the lathe. The lathe was outfitted with a flame hardened bed and optional work light from the factory. The original motor was replaced with a 5hp single phase motor by the previous owner who passed. It was sold to him without motor. Other features that may have been options are unknown for certain.
