Comments:
I purchased this early 1950's Craftsman 12" power hacksaw in the Dallas Texas area off a FB Marketplace ad posting. I've been looking for one of these Craftsman power hacksaws for MANY years (over 20) and have never seen one in person ever until this one came along. These were made for Sears by Covel Manufacturing Company of Benton Harbor Michigan. Covel also had an in house line of these same power hacksaws branded their "Excel" line of machines. This machine was all there but just had some very bad past paint jobs that had to be stripped off completely. I repainted this machine in Awl Grip in my darker custom mix of Craftsman/King-Seeley grey color.
