I bought the wood lathe for $50 off of Craigslist it came with some ends for the drive and a center for the tailstock. What really made me interested in it was it had the original overhead countershaft with original cast iron bearings that are perfect with zero play and the 1-3/16 shaft is in good shape as well. Unfortunately it was missing the tight and loose pulley which seems to be a common theme for every countershaft I’ve bought it’s always missing something mostly the drive pulleys. It was missing the legs so I made a set with some heavy structural tubing and some 3/8 thick angle iron. It also has no manufacturer mark or tag I’d assume it was cast onto the legs that are missing.
