Saw a craigslist posting that a storage barn was being cleared out and several machine tools therein needed new homes. These pics are from the day I picked it up, sitting in the back of my truck. It had been liberally oiled so over time it accumulated a thick coat of dust and dirt. Underneath, the paint is in pretty good shape but there is a bit of rust in a few places. This belonged to a retired tool and die maker and had been in storage for about 16 years. Surprisingly little wear on the ways. Came with all the back gears, 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks, and a bit of tooling. It was mounted to a pair of cast iron legs that appear to be South Bend but possibly older or from a different model. The tool post was the only part missing. This will receive a full restoration. I may share pics of the restoration also.
