We have had three reports of this type of machine. It is labeled with the maker's name and the patent date of May 11, 1875. The patent is here:

According to the patent, this is a machine "for wiring the rods and slats of window-blinds together." It stretches the definition of a woodworking machine, but it is interesting because it was made by the notable but under-documented Hoyt & Brother Co.
